The Best Reusable Ziplock Bags
3 Minute Read
Ziplock bags are pretty trashy
They’re hard to clean, often rip at the seams, and they all end up in the landfill
You see, ziplock bags are made of soft plastic, which (like most plastic bags) are not accepted in curbside recycling programs. This is because these bags tend to clog up the recycling machines, causing lots of issues during the recycling process. So most soft plastics either need to go in a designated recycling bin or in the trash. Ideally in the designated bin. But many people don’t have access to those. So what’s the alternative? Reusable Ziplock Bags!!
Now there are a lotta crappy alternatives out there when it comes to reusable ziplock bags. Most of them come from the same manufacturer in china and a slew of different companies simply slap their logo on it. But they don’t work well, tend to retain the smell of whatever you put them in, and they’re super difficult to open and close.
Eco friendly swaps should be easy, not difficult. So rather than going down a rabbit hole on google or amazon to find the best reusable ziplock bags, let me guide you to the best ones out there. I’ve tried these 3 brands over the years (along with a bunch of others you really don’t need to know about) and I absolutely love them. They come in a ton of different sizes, colors, and shapes. And you can even write on them with permanent or dry erase markers. Draw a fun design on there or even put a label or name on it!
These reusable ziplock bags are all:

I am responding about the reusable-ziplock bags I have the stasher bags many of them and they are great. Now my older trucker husband say’s they are hard to open while going down the road. I tell him he can work on it. He isn’t on board with the new bag’s that is all. I have used the stasher bags and they are really nice. Thick enough but not awkward. I tell people about them
There is a trick to opening up the stasher bags: you have to pull them open from below the seam instead of on top. If you open them below the seam, it opens without any effort.
